Yup, The site up again.
Sorry for my careless and losing the articles data I shutdown the site to recover in these few days. Fortunately, All articles posted before 31 Mar 2004 afternoon can be found in Google cache, we lost only about 1-2 posts as I recall. But it take really long time to recover the data. BTW, it back now and hope that my careless won't piss you off. (We will do backup every half day later)
Basically, you can use the site freely now. I had upgraded the whole site to Drupal 4.4.0. I will change the layout later. You will find that we got an WYSIWYG javascript html textarea editor. I don't know how many people like it or hate it. Feel free to told us and we will decide whether to keep it or not. I disable the wiki filter modules. So, you need to write HTML now. You may find the polls is empty. Indeed, I still keep the result of the old polls. But may be we vote again if you don't mind.
I suppose most thing should have back to normal. Drop us a message if you find any problem. And wish you enjoy our site! ^_^

Hmm, it complains that it may not work with JavaScript < 1.3 when I'm in Safari ... (So Konquerer may have that problem too though I am not sure)
ugg ... and I hate this new HTML editor ... yuck.
Did it break anything?
YP ask if it break the browser. Coz he like the htmlarea.
Hmm, this thing doesn't work in Safari .. it complains that Javascript < 1.3 ...
So instead of htmlarea I just get a plain text box.
Maybe Konquerer / KHTML has the same problem but I'm not sure since I don't use that.
Otherwise, it works fine in English (this was on Solaris) but on my Linux box with a Japaense enabled mozilla htmlarea will act strange (misaligned text when you try to edit something, for example.
It's ok if it don't break the browser
It is ok if it only just show a text box. I only worried if it make anybody can't wrote anything. Have you check the updated version in the original site? Or try kupu? You know, not much KDE guys here! ;P
But most of this kind js WYSIWYG editor are only support Mozilla and IE. I hope I will got some time to hack it and allow use to choose enable or disable it on fly.
I think it is probably more
I think it is probably more likely to do with the choice of fonts being used in mozilla, and it doesn't like the one that is chosen for Debian.
Anyway, someone should make a dynamic option to disable this thing.
It doesn't work so well in Japanese mozilla. It works better in English. You can still write things in Japanese mozilla, just that things sometimes get misaligned.
The htmlarea on the original site doesn't work in Safari either due ot me not having Javascript >= 1.3 ...
I guess KTHML / Apple WebKit only support Javascript 1.2...
Great Job
but i hate this js text area
