I am using a Acer TravelMate4062WLMi, after I install Debian and compile Kernel 2.6.15-2 I realized there's no sound and I am clueless of what to do, can someone please help me to get my sound to work? thanks
What does lspci say?
it's not a solution, but running
/etc/init.d/alsa force-reload
(as root) worked for me to solve this same problem. It appears to be a KDE bug (do you use KDE?)
