I have installed 3.0r5.
For the screen of GNOME, there is a menu bar on the top of the screen.
I think it is redundant because there is already a menu bar on the screen bottom.
How can I remove it?
BTW, is gnome the most popular X window manager in Debian?
Thanks
right click the panel and cho
right click the panel and choose to remove the panel.
Gnome is not a window manager but a desktop enviroment.
Gnome can use with many window manager like sawfish, windowmaker and
metacity but metacity is the default one support by Gnome team.
I recommend you upgrade to Sarge (debian 3.1) if you using debian as a desktop. the one in Woody is pretty old.
