So, how desperate is HK Broadband for IDD business? Consider this. Today, I got a call from a "private number" (my mother, usually). "Hi, I am calling from Hong Kong Broadband in Hong Kong. We've got a special deal for IDD HK <->Australia". On my mobile.

My first reaction was, "what the?! How does that happen?!". Considering the fact that my mobile is not published anywhere but my business card, and I still got a full box of them ... Yes, I am from Hong Kong, but how did my number get leaked? I'd be very interested to know ...

Speaking of IDD, a friend of mine in town was mentioning it is actually cheaper in Australia to make an IDD call with a calling card than to make a local mobile call. Go figure....
