Aspell is a spell-checker.
Aspell is designed to be a drop-in replacement for Ispell.

It is the best Open source spell checker compare with ispell and Winword.

However , After I install the Aspell by :

Apt-get install aspell aspell-en Gnome-spell

It does not work with Sarge Gnome applications .

Such as Abiword, Gedit and OpenOffice.

I can run aspell in command line to spell check text file with out problem. so, the aspell is working.

But Gnome application seems does not see the aspell installed. Even Evolution does not see it.

When I do the spell check in those application ,it does not see any misspelled word.

Am I missing any things ? Does it need to config ?

Any one know how to make the aspell work in Sarge Gnome application and openoffice.
